When I work with Photoshop or Illustrator I am reminded that creativity holds the key.
I begin a piece by starting with a simple design, eventually evolving into a more complex design filled with stimulating and attention-grabbing qualities.
I know a piece is done when there is no more room to work.
When my work is going well, I am filled with a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.
When people see my work I'd like them to become amazed by how complexed my piece is.
holds the key to what? also, is it just these two programs or is it digital media in general? that way you are not bound with just two programs.

amazed by the complexity, ok...but what about the design and what it represents. complexity does not necessarily equals success.
